You know God is on the move when…

When God stirs us, everything in our lives, our whole perception of reality, is changed. For example, you know God is moving:

1. When you make decisions designed to get you more of God

2. When the Holy Spirit starts pushing your feet in a different direction and the result is a God-encounter
3. When you just can’t wait to read the Bible or stop reading the Bible
4.When everything you hear or read of Jesus brings a tear to your eye and causes hope to rise
5.  When you look at the strangers around you and realise Jesus made and loves them, and you look at your loved ones and your heart cracks with tenderness for them
6. When you have new numbers in your phone from Christian contacts and you know the body is going to be a blessing
7. When the anticipation of the next corporate time with God gives you goosebumps and heady joy
8. When billboards and ads and the news and anything worldly is death – strange, dull, sad and devilish
9.When your heart is burning
10. When you are so awakened you cannot sleep for passion, grief, excitement, glory and intercession

11.When urgency for his honour and presence starts to grip your soul.

So get and keep oil in your lamp and oil for your lamp. Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning
How do YOU know when God is on the move? Please share and add to the list…

About stayingfaithful

I am looking for anything that relates to life and to a fuller life. I am bored by the normal and the natural and interested in the supernatural. There must be more than this. We were put on this earth for more than a nine to five prison, as someone said a few years ago.
